The High Atlas rises less than an hour from Marrakech, and with it a different Morocco: Amazigh villages stacked on the hillsides, walnut groves, irrigation channels older than the city itself. With a licensed mountain guide you'll walk the Imlil valley at an easy pace, cross villages linked by mule paths, and sit down to a home-cooked tagine with a local family — the kind of day that ends up being the one travellers remember.

Highlights

  • Hotel pickup in an air-conditioned minivan
