Stone desert, golden hour, campfire dinner — the Sahara feeling, 40 minutes from town.
You don't need three days on the road to feel the desert. The Agafay plateau — a lunar expanse of stone hills southwest of Marrakech — turns pure gold at sunset, with the snow line of the Atlas floating behind it. We drive you out in the late afternoon, pour mint tea on a dune crest as the light drops, then sit you down at our partner camp for a candlelit Moroccan dinner with Amazigh musicians around the fire. Back in Marrakech by 22:30.
